I'm finding it harder and harder to read Excalibur. The continual refusal to start a story at the beginning is starting to get really tiresome. I find it really astonishing that Marcus To is able to produce such beautiful artwork from such a weak storyline.
ReplyDeleteEverything seems to come out of nowhere. Have we ever really seen Rictor becoming interested in magic? I know it's run throughout the series but it doesn't feel organic. I'm impressed you remembered that That Weirdo Jamie Braddock was holding Morgaine Le Fey captive. I was just wondering why he had Selene.
And next it's Kwannon versus Betsy yet again. It doesn't matter how well Rogue is written (and she is) it can't make up for all the tosh.
