On the eve of #XLapsed100, we’re going to be talking about a confrontation that listeners of the show know I’ve been looking forward to for awhile – it’s the New Mutants vs. DOX!

Can this face-off possibly live up to my expectations… or will my uncharacteristic optimism be slapped down!  It’s a story of slippery slopes and technicalities… you won’t wanna miss it!

Also: Our final “Merry” Mailbag feature (for now), and much begging for #XLapsed100 engagement from your humble host!

You may have been looking forward to this issue but I had been dreading it. There has been so much politically naive material in recent X-books that I was worried that we would get an obvious strawman as the person behind Dox. It turns out that I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't subtle but it didn't hit you with a sledgehammer. Ultimately it's a pretty good ending to the first part of the Dox story.

Why do people keep using Nova Roma in stories? There were 100 issues of the original New Mutants and they keep returning to the worst story in the run. Seriously, I'd prefer they brought back Birdboy. It probably doesn't help that the inhabitants of Nova Roma have had more retcons than the Phoenix at this point. I even think they've all been murdered before.

Anyway I'm going to go and listen to your landmark 100th episode now. Until Nova Roma is revealed to be in Nebraska, Make Mine X-Lapsed!
