So, who’s ready for even more HoX/PoX Hot Takes from your fumblin’, stumblin’ humble host? Boy, the issue we’re discussing today (House of X #4) does not pull any punches. We’ve got a lot to talk about here… and, lemme tell ya, I had quite the conversation with myself over the direction of this event! I look forward to continuing the discussion with actual humans!

Also, some great and helpful feedback… and, in the Krakoan spirit, planting the first seeds of an idea for a “BooX Club” (clever, no? Okay, not really.)

As always, a huge thank you to everyone whose listened and reached out over the course of the first handful of episodes (it means the world!), I hope you’ll continue to join me for my long-overdue wild ride into X-Relevancy… even though I seemingly can’t shut up about the over reliance on info-pages!

If you’d like to pop on as a “HoX/PoX Tour Guide” and help this x-lapsed fella get his land legs back, please let me know!

Another great episode. I just wanted to add my opinion on the telepathic pool thing. I read it as them saying that Professor X and Jean are both able to send messages at a planetary level but that they needed a booster to go interplanetary. I know that telepathy is often shown as limitless in comics but I quite like the idea of limitations on powers. If everyone becomes godlike there are no stakes.

One of my favourite things about HOXPOX is that it was a completely new start. Over the years I have repeatedly tried to get back into the X-Men (most recently with the Blue and Gold launch) and each time I ended up lost. It's nice to have a genuine jumping on point where my lack of knowledge of post Morrison continuity is not an impediment.

I'm loving this series and I'm sure will keep annoying you with my "corrections". Thanks for producing this.

    Damien

No no… not annoying AT ALL! Please, keep 'em coming! I really appreciate you taking the time to reach out! I'll be reading feedback throughout the show's run, so I will have more "fleshed out" responses there.
      Thanks again, Damien!
