Welcome, friends – to the Reign of X… which, I’m pretty sure is supposed to be said as “Reign of 10”, but… yeah, I’m never going to do that.  We kick things off with our newly resurrected Hellions going on a mission to retrieve some Nanny-Tech in order to bring back their final lost member.  We also get some amazing Sassy Sinister moments!

Lotsa great stuff to chat about, and – as always, a wonderful dip into the Mailbag!

One of the problems with reading digitally is that the books run on. Whenever you get to the end of the issue you are encouraged to read the next. Every time I listen to a Hellions episode I immediately go and reread the issue in the light of what you have said. I always enjoy it so much that I read the next issue, then the next and by the end of it I've forgotten what happened in which issue and what I wanted to say in response to you. I either need to start keeping notes or just accept that Hellions is so great that I can't stop reading it. That's pretty good feedback for a comic.

This series could be written for me. My first IS X-book was X-Factor 9 which featured Cameron Hodge being sinister and the start of the Mutant Massacre. My first X-Men was the following month with the first appearance of the Marauders. I bought the first appearances of Mr Sinister,Nanny and the Orphan Maker off the stands. Every single element runs my nostalgia spot.

Talking of reading along I'm falling a little behind but I've noticed that near-future episodes are covering SWORD 1 and Juggernaut 4 which are not on Marvel Unlimited yet. I like to read the books before I listen to you so I have decided to skip the ones I haven't read so I can get to books I can't wait for your response to like Marauders 16 and then go back again when they are uploaded to Unlimited. It means my comments will be time travelling a bit but hopefully it'll mean I get closer to being caught up with you.

Anyway until I manage to get into the resurrection queue just for a new set of knees, make mine X-lapsed.
