When Kid Cable Met Deadpool (I think…)!

In today’s issue and episode, Young Nate has to check in with the current King of Staten Island for some “body work”.  It’s far funnier than I’m making it sound, believe me.

Also: Some great listener mail, featuring two takes on the funeral and return of Call Me Kate in Marauders #11!  It’s some great discussion – hope you’ll decide to be a part of it!

I have very little to say about this issue because it was fun. What more can you say? I do slightly worry that Gerry Duggan is having so much fun in the margins that we can lose sight of the overall picture. When the baby turned up at the end I'd forgotten that the story started with a kidnap. But it's fun, nonetheless.

It was really interesting to hear you contrast my feedback on Marauders 11 with Jesse's. Everything that Jesse said is correct. Kitty should have a Jewish funeral and it should be attended by much more people. There is no doubt. What is evident from Marauders 12 is that far more people attend Kitty's resurrection than her funeral. This could, in part, answer some of Jesse's gripes. The Krakoans clearly see resurrection as more important than death. Maybe we could understand people who have died and been resurrected not wanting to acknowledge death but it's still weird that so few turned up.

Still loving the podcast. Thanks again for all your hard work.
